The game is played from a first-person perspective, similar to DayZ, but with adjustable camera options that allow you to pull back toward a closer third-person view if you prefer. The overall feel will immediately resonate with fans of Project Zomboid, though HumanitZ leans more into real-time combat and exploration rather than strict isometric management.

The open world is packed with danger. Zombies can overwhelm you very quickly if you’re careless, especially early on when weapons and ammo are scarce. Combat rewards planning and positioning, and charging into situations unprepared is often fatal.

One of the biggest strengths of HumanitZ is its co-op gameplay. You can survive solo or team up with up to four players online, and the experience truly shines when played with friends.
